Bismillah Al Rahman Al Raheem (In the Name of Allah, The All Merciful, The Most Merciful), Salam alaykum (Peace of Almighty God be to you).
A person I started to follow recently is Sheikh Yusuf Estes. I beginned communications with him a few months ago via email and he has been mentoring me about all the questions I have about Islam. He also send me very rich links to read allowing me to have today a much better understanding about the words written in the Quran.
The truth is that I actually entered Islam the day the Quran was given to me. It has been a very big impact and also a shock for my close friends and for my Catholic family. Converting from Christianity to Islam means a very big change in my daily and normal lifestyle. This decision will be made when the right moment comes. I will know when the time is right, because Allah will certainly let me know about the exact date.
The most important thing no matter - "your religious beliefs"; is to be ready to take responsibility of your actions and to be aware of the consequences that your behaviour will have. We all make sins, but that doesn't mean that you are a bad person, it only means you were mistaken and given the chance to do it better next time you try. The Quran is a guide to help you understand why you are here, showing you the road to success and the right path to pass this test.
It is a fact that I really do feel love, relieve, pleasure, happiness, satisfaction, knowledge, respect and mercy when I go on my knees to pray to ALLAH, our GOD the ONE and ONLY. It is also a truth that whoever bows in front of ALLAH can stand in front of anyone.
Every time I travel, I do actually play the Holy Quran on my iPhone. Sometimes I even look for signs continuously and unconsciously.
But then, when I see the signs, it is kind of hard to follow them or to even understand their meaning by the time you them. Sometimes I think they could be related to my past, but often I believe they are just related to the current present. The signs are telling me how to fight and get ready for the upcoming future.
Even though I try hard to read them with the purpose to understand what they really mean and with the objective to find out what their final message might be, it is up to you to find the right interpretation, to what you see. It is definitely very hard to put the right thoughts into real practice if you are not on the right and harmonic state of mind.
So......, if you are looking for signs...........
Trust me, they are EVERYWHERE!
You can find them in the water, in the desert, in the jungle, on the sand, in the mountains, in the parks, in the streets, on the buildings, inside the nature...... You can even recognise them in people, in animals, in plants, in the moments, in the weather, in the breeze....in a laugh!
The signs are 100% there!!!
Open your eyes.....and watch!
Sometimes I feel the need to contact the beloved people I have lost...., cause there are times when we all look back searching for answers.
All I want to say today is that I believe that I found my Lord and therefore I will always keep an eye on his guidance written in the Quran, cause I believe that if his mercy is as big as the Quran says, it will lead me to the light till I am in paradise.
I believe because I can feel Allah! I believe because he helped me when I was in need! I believe because he made me strong! I believe because he forgave me when I acted wrong! I believe because he saved me when I was in danger! I believe because I can feel him when I am asleep! I challenged the existence of God many times and he proved me wrong!
That's why I worship Allah... He is all!

in our language we pronounce it: Bismillahirrohmanirrohim... and like the above written: Allahu Akbar.. the below script was mistype, Marta :)
